Handpicked Wines Wombat Creek Vineyard Chardonnay is grown in the Wombat Creek Vineyard on dramatic slopes at high elevation in the Upper Yarra Valley.

The wine is a single vineyard blend of I10v1 and Dijon-76 Chardonnay clones. The grapes are hand harvested, chilled overnight and whole bunch pressed.

Wild fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. A portion of the barrels undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine matures in the same barrels for 12 months. It is made only in the best vintages.

Pale straw, Handpicked Wines Wombat Creek Vineyard Chardonnay is a wine of elegance, clarity and length. Cellaring potential is seven years.
